The Parthean Empire has stood proud for over three centuries. Though it was rocked by a terrible cataclysm in Year 98, the details of what would come to be known as the First Cataclysm fade from the consciousness of the people over the next century. By Year 309, the government has fully denied the supernatural Cataclysm, even as signs of a second one were beginning to show.

In the end, all of the Empire's efforts to suppress rising discontent fail, and our hero, Merina, ever clad in black armor, is the executioner to put the Empire in its grave...
